Flying Over Walls Prisoner Letterwriting Project – We are a Queer/Trans Prisoner Solidarity Project in the SF Bay Area, currently working in collaboration with Black & Pink. Our vision is for direct solidarity with our community on the inside through letterwriting, political education and direct action to combat the damaging effects of criminalization as they relate to queer/trans experiences and through a queer/trans lens. We meet monthly in the SF Bay Area to  orient new free world penpals, support current free world penpals and distribute letters that have arrived to our po box. Whether you are swinging by to pick up a letter, looking to find a long-term pen-pal, or simply want to write a few cards this is a simple way to brighten someone’s day in prison and hang out with some awesome queers. So come hang out with us! As always, we’ll have some basic supplies, but feel free to bring pens, markers, paper, envelopes, watercolors, pencils, stamps and donations to help with postage. Please do NOT bring any stickers, glues, glitters or adhesives.

RPSC 6pm-8pm Sept 18th.
