How might we design a youth retail and writing center that engages the complex identity of the Oakland community, welcomes Oaklanders of all kinds to participate, and empowers the community to take risks and grow together in a creative space? Over the course of 5 days, we will work with ten Oakland teens who will help us answer this question through Agency by Design techniques and creative writing. By the end of the camp, we will have a collaborative zine that features their findings and writing.
